Cannabidiol, or CBD, is one of over 100 cannabinoids found in Hemp and Marijuana plants (both of which are in the cannabis plant family).
What are cannabinoids? Cannabinoids are a group of chemical compounds commonly found in cannabis. The most well known cannabinoid is tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). Cannabinoids have also been found in other botanical sources, such as hops and certain varieties of Echinacea. We produce them in our very own endocannabinoid system, a system which regulates almost every important bodily function.

Help! I’m new to CBD and I’m not sure if I should take it. If you have any concerns or questions about your health, you should always consult with a physician or other licensed health-care professional, especially regarding potential interactions or other possible complications. That aside, we are happy to answer any questions you may have regarding CBD, and which products will work best for you. Please feel free to reach out via our contact form and someone will reply to you as soon as possible.
Does CBD get you high? In the traditional sense of the word, no. All of our products are derived from Hemp and contain less than 0.3% THC. Anything higher than that is considered Marijuana, and must be purchased through a dispensary. Even though many of our products have trace amounts of THC in them, it is not enough to produce the psychoactive effects generally associated with smoking marijuana. That being said, everyone is different and the effects of CBD can vary depending on the individual. The most common response to taking too much CBD is a feeling of tiredness, so caution should be used when performing activities that require alertness.
How much CBD should I take? Due to such factors as weight, metabolism and body chemistry, appropriate serving sizes can vary widely. We recommend starting with a small amount of CBD, and gradually increasing the serving until the desired effects are achieved.
Is CBD Legal? In accordance with the Farm Bill of 2018, it is legal to grow and sell industrial hemp, and hemp derived products. All of our products are hemp derived and contain less than .3% THC. Due to the taboos that still surround the cannabis industry in general, we recommend exercising caution when traveling with CBD, as to avoid any unnecessary scrutiny. This is especially important when traveling internationally, where CBD products may be considered illegal in the country of arrival.
What are the health benefits of CBD? FDA Disclosure: In accordance with federal regulation we cannot make health claims regarding the products on this site. These products are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any disease.
Will I test positive on a drug test when using CBD?
Although the products we carry contain the federal limit of .3% THC or less, that is still enough THC to show up on a drug test. We do however offer some products that are guaranteed THC free, so those might be a better option for you.
